I began my career in content, working first as a proofreader, then as a technical editor. A few years later, I read about Howard Mozkowitz and began my transition into UX research and design. Since, I’ve worked on a range of products, from native apps to enterprise-level systems and in various environments, such as small startups and large, global companies.
I believe that teams who identify with their customers create better products and so most of career I’ve sought to integrate research and design into organizational cultures. It’s through this process that I’ve been able to contribute to product pivots, identify and solve major customer obstacles, and help employees incorporate customer perspectives into their everyday decisions.
When I’m not working, I write about research and design, create collections of user research resources, obsessively listen to house music, and take lots of silly pictures of my dog, Jarvis.
